Legs Up the Wall
There are so many benefits to this pose, including several which are commonly associated with chiropractic care. Practicing this pose every day for 10 minutes can help to alleviate tiredness and soreness in the feet, legs and lower back associated with plantar fasciitis, minor disc compression or an achy back, restless legs and leg cramps.
You will need a beach/bath towel or a quilt, folded into a rectangle about 2 – 3 inches thick, and a blank wall space, or even the edge of a couch/chair.
• Lie on your side with legs bent and scoot your bottom/back of legs close to the wall, roll onto your back and slide the blanket/towel under your low back/seat
• Place the backs of your legs against the wall hip-width apart (or hang them over the seat of the couch or chair). You may also be a few inches from the wall if your hamstrings are tight.
• Begin by engaging the muscles of your legs and flexing your feet, slowly allowing your legs to soften and turn out and/or bend, however, try to keep the legs from going far beyond hip-width apart.
• Let your palms rest open beside you, or on your stomach to help you connect with taking longer, deeper breaths.
Stay here observing your body supported and resting for 7-10 minutes

Subject: Little Johnny is back
LITTLE JOHNNY IS BACK:
The teacher asked the class to use the word “fascinate” in a sentence.
Molly put up her hand and said, “My family went to my granddad’s… farm, and we all saw his pet sheep. It was fascinating.”
The teacher said, “That was good, but I wanted you to use the word ‘fascinate,’ not ‘fascinating’.”
Sally raised her hand. She said, “My family went to see Rock City and I was fascinated.”
The teacher said, “Well, that was good Sally, but I wanted you to use the word ‘fascinate’.”
Little Johnny raised his hand, but the teacher hesitated because she had been burned by Little Johnny before. She finally decided there was no way he could damage the word “fascinate,” so she called on him.
Johnny said, “My aunt Carolyn has a sweater with ten buttons, but her boobs are so big she can only fasten eight!”
The teacher sat down and cried.
